Welcome to the annual Catonsville Fall
Into Fitness 5K / 10K / 1 Mile Fun Walk, hosted by The Rotary Club
of Catonsville-Sunrise, The Saint Agnes Foundation and The Community
College of Baltimore County (CCBC).
For more than 10 years, this event has been held in late September
to take advantage of the pleasant fall weather, and to provide a
healthy, outdoor activity for the whole family. As of 2006, the
Catonsville event was combined with a separate event previously
sponsored by the Saint Agnes Foundation, and this year the Community
College of Baltimore County (CCBC) has joined this partnership of
community organizations, and is hosting the entire event on their
Catonsville campus. All proceeds raised from this event will benefit
local charities including the Saint Agnes Cancer Center; CCBC
Foundation Catonsville Scholarship Fund; and other local charities
supported by The Rotary Club of Catonsville-Sunrise.
This family event brings together competitive runners, fitness
runners and walkers for friendly competition, exercise, live music,
dancing, awards, trophies and exciting door prizes. Participation
has increased every year for the last five years, and is expected to
top 1,000 in 2009. Don’t miss it!
