ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT LOCAL CHARITIES

CCBC - Proceeds from the race designated for the Community College of Baltimore County will go towards the CCBC Foundation to support Athletics. At CCBC, the goal of the Athletic department is to develop the total student athlete, one who can compete successfully both in the classroom and on the athletic field. The college offers a variety of men’s and women’s sports that compete for state, regional and national championships. A combination of talented student athletes and quality coaching makes athletics at CCBC a unique experience – one which aims to build up the body and the mind.

SAINT AGNES FOUNDATION - The Saint Agnes Foundation supports health care services for Maryland residents, with a focus on charity care, medical education, medical research and the improvement of facilities and equipment at Saint Agnes Hospital.
 

The Y of Central Maryland - The proceeds raise from this event will go directly to the Y’s “Send a Kid to Camp” program. Each summer, the Catonsville Y has over 200 children in the summer camp program, where they participate in swimming, hiking, crafts, yoga, instructional sports and large group games. One out of every four summer campers are only able to attend based on the generosity of those in the community.

CATONSVILLE SUNRISE ROTARY FOUNDATION - This foundation has raised and contributed over $200,000 in the last eight years. For the last five years, the Foundation has distributed free dictionaries to every third-grade public school student in the area. In addition, the Foundation actively supports a number of local charitable causes, including the Catonsville Emergency Food Ministries; Disabled Sports USA’s Wounded Warrior Program; the Children’s Home; League of Dreams; The Samaritan Women; The Lazarus Caucus, and many other similar organizations.
